JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops and executes test plans, test cases, and test JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops and executes test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Develops test plans, test schedule, and approach. Writes test cases and scripts and identifies data for test scenarios. Conducts a walk through on test case/script with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads. Performs and leads tests of software and/or IT systems to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Performs verification activities on work products using SAIC is seeking Software, Systems, Integration, Test, and IA Engineers to support O&M, R&D, and procurement of data and information processing capabilities to improve battlespace awareness and data for decision making at all echelons across Combat Air Force (AF) Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise, Intelligence Community (IC), Joint, and Coalition air, space, cyberspace, and intelligence components, systems, and architectures. This mission is to research, develop, transition, and sustain advanced information technology solutions.


Job Description: Responsible for applying knowledge of computer science principles to support complex research and engineering. Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; Ensures software test standards are met. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors’ degree in computer science, related engineering or scientific discipline, and experience with high-order languages and standard libraries. Eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) position appropriate level of security clearance.
