SAIC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for its Research & Development activities in support of FAA human factors and air traffic control systems. Exciting position supports assessing new technology for the National Airspace System.
Experience in managing the work of a group of programmers and conversant in paradigms such as agile software development. Involves programming in C++ and applications related to prototyping and simulation. Activities include prototype development, research, testbeds and assessments of simulations. Duties include programming and software integration of prototypes for simulation. Quantify and document results for test reports & technical assessments. Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills, work well in a group and with individual assignments. Full-time positions are in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the FAA Technical Center.
