Description

SAIC is seeking a part-time candidate to assist the FAA in developing acquisition-related documentation. The candidate should be knowledgeable of the National Airspace System capabilities; FAA JRC phases, processes, and products; FAA automation systems and the acquisition process of those systems; and have the ability to work across organizational boundaries and technical disciplines. Outstanding communication skills are a must.


Provide draft management briefings and presentations including IP&A; support the Program Office with IARD, JRC, and FID efforts to include:

  • Acquisition Plan development and SIR; lead role
  • Assisting with SOW, CDRL/DID development
  • Assisting with CLIN set up for new follow on STARS Contract
  • Assisting with CFO memo and package, assist cost team in tracking IGCE and other CFO attachments’ development and editing 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience working with FAA acquisition processes, either En Route or Terminal or systems of equivalent complexity (i.e., DoD). FAA TAMR/STARS experience a major plus. BS in Business, Economics or Statistics, or Masters in Management or Program Management.
