SAIC is seeking Senior Desk Officers to support an operational and analytical program for an Intelligence Community customer in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Desk officers play a key role in communicating and supporting operational requirements and provide interface between customer equities at home, in the field, and with other US Government agencies. They support a wide range of operational and programmatic activities to manage a geographic or transnational issue; manage and track cases; draft, coordinate, and/or monitor intelligence reports and production; provide timely guidance, including identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies; conduct research and analysis using customer tools and databases; and demonstrate knowledge and/or proficiency in a geographical area or substantive issue. This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance with a polygraph examination – no exceptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (or five years of relevant work experience)
• And 12-19 years of applied operational experience 
• Must have active/current TS/SCI with Poly
• Knowledge and understanding of the Intelligence Community's operational mission
• Experience drafting intelligence products, including cables
• Ability to analyze, present, and communicate information effectively
• Ability to work well on a team and independently

Desired Qualifications

• Certification in intelligence operations tradecraft
• Foreign field experience
