Responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support business development and program staff management.
Provides key input and direction in planning, developing and implementing
the program baseline. Identifies key resources to manage and execute to the
program baseline. Identifies and analyzes moderate variances, and defines
corrective actions. Responsible for a task or project when it is part of a
larger program reporting to another PM; or responsible for overall execution as
the sole PM managing and growing Category 3
program(s) with domestic funding.
Rarely reviewed for progress or completion in meeting program objectives and account synergy engagement. Primary customer interface for all program matters, information and insight sharing, and moderate problem resolution.
PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT OF PROGRAM STAFF:
Possesses leadership and management skills that require very little feedback from supervisors. Provides strategic guidance to the team. Escalates and resolves moderate program issues. Provides input to MS on performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations. Assists MS in screening and interviewing potential hires. Resolves moderate personnel issues in coordination with MS, HR, and Program Oversight.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT:
Contributes to a strategic BD plan to protect current program and expand account offerings. Provides significant elements of recompete capture strategy. May serve as CM to expand current account offerings. Identifies potential buying agents for growth beyond current account. Identifies opportunity and account buying influences. Recommends opportunities for investment by leveraging repeatable and differentiated offerings and capabilities by implementing specific tools and resources.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more of related experience.
PMP or certification in Program Management is highly desired
Solid background managing multiple customer programs/business development.
TS Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
