Description

SAIC is looking for Technical Support in Washington, D.C. The candidate resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. 

Responsibilities Include:
  • Diagnoses, identifies, isolates, and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. 
  • May route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists. 
  • Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. 
  • Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Advise users on appropriate action.
  • Follow standard deskside procedures.
  • Log all deskside interactions and resolves issues; escalates issues as required.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to appropriate resource.
  • Track and route problems and requests and documents resolutions.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience 
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust
