SAIC is seeking experienced Electrical, Mechanical, or Information Systems Engineers to join a team that supports NSWC Crane in a wide array of engineering services tasks required by various Electronic Warfare and Radar Technologies contracts in Crane, IN.
Comfortable with system requirements development, mapping or tracing to hardware and software elements and to higher level source requirements, requirements verification planning and execution
Familiarity with system architecting, Analysis of Alternatives
Understands Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process implementation
Test and Evaluation planning and execution
System Safety analysis and planning
Systems sustainment planning
System configuration management
Possess the ability to define and write unambiguous requirements and strong product specifications.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
Ability to communicate efficiently with management via reports and updates on tasking progress.
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to execute tasking while maintaining the high level vision required to facilitate career and company growth long-term.
Ability to balance a diverse set of tasks of varying priorities with limited oversight
Strong technical research, technical writing, and technical presentation skills.
Well acquainted with Integrated Product Teams and should be able to create models and frameworks such as: the project integrated master schedule, work breakdown structures, system block diagrams and interface definition documents.
Able to draft the following plans: Project Management Plan, Systems Engineering Plan, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Requirements Verification and Traceability document, Systems Safety Program Plan and its follow-on reports, the Configuration Management Plan, and others as may be required under SETR processes.

DoD Acquisition instructions and process (DAU Acquisition Handbook, online)
NAVSEA Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes, NAVSEA PEO IWS Design Reference Manual
