SAIC is looking for a Systems Integrator/Sharepoint Administrator to join an exciting program to support solution development for challenging problems.SI are primarily responsible for a multiple system integration efforts including technical support, requirements definition, design trade-studies, oversight, and operational impact/support. Responsibilities include interface with multiple customers and subsystem engineers to ensure technical issues are resolved consistent with contract and schedule requirements.

 

The successful candidate is a proactive, forward-leaning self-starter able to work in a fast-paced organization spread across diverse technical areas in the computer networking and telecommunication fields. The successful candidate brings a strong technical background with demonstrated technical aptitude in order to quickly understand technical concepts and communicate them in a way that can be understood by non-technical people. The SI is essential to ensuring appropriate integration and assembly of all subsystems or segments of the Client systems. The objective for the SI is the continuing verification of all internal and external interfaces (physical, logical and functional) to ensure the individual subsystems or segments will operate together. The candidate applies their expertise leading and contributing to technical exchange meetings, creating and maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans, and assigning and closing action items for the customer's technical projects.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, build and maintain a SharePoint 2013 Records Center environment
  • Plan and design databases, develop or update workflows and migrate data to SharePoint 2013. 
  • Perform the semi-routine operation of server software including maintaining system security; monitors usage statistics and logs; modifies configuration settings and backs up the systems; troubleshoots system related problems; may write shell scripts; general knowledge in operating systems, TCP/IP, and Internet services such as HTTP and FTP servers.
  • Design, update, and maintain a collaborative solutions-based framework of websites and portals in a Microsoft SharePoint environment.
  • Develop custom Web-Parts and component for SharePoint

Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 additional years of experience working in a similar position.
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Proficient with SharePoint 2013 development, administration, and general user knowledge.
  • Proficient with SharePoint Designer to develop solutions for designs, lists, and libraries. 
  • Knowledge and experience building and maintaining a SharePoint 2013 Records Center environment
  • Experience with scripting to include, but not limited to, Windows PowerShell
  • Practical, hands-on experience and demonstrable technical competence with development and operational tools
  • Advanced knowledge of out-of-the-box functionality, SharePoint web services and tuning functionality
  • Experience with HTML5, Style Sheet, CAML, XML, XSLT, Java Script, SharePoint Designer 2013 and InfoPath 2013.
  • Needs to have a thorough understanding of SharePoint (admin, developing, functions).
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
  • Ability to manage diverse workloads and effectively prioritize multiple competing demands on the individual’s time.
  • Proven experience in producing program documentation with demonstrated application of project management principles.
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently and in the team environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
