Description

SAIC seeks Systems Integrators (SI) to support a customer with the development of diverse, leading edge products and capabilities in the application of advanced technologies against an operational mission. The SI is part of an engineering and project management team focused on advancing these capabilities in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Duties may include aspects of multiple system integration efforts including technical support, requirements definition, design trade-studies, oversight, and operational impact/support in conjunction with:

  • Assist in assessing, documenting, and tracking new engineering requirements and facilitating technical exchange meetings (TEMs) used to inform Government and Contractor teams about systems engineering and integration activities. 
  • Support the Government in resource planning, coordination and analysis. Coordinate project schedules to support defined strategic effectivities. 
  • Plan major systems engineering Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations. 
  • Assist in the preparation of documents, records, forms, reports, and plans covering systems engineering and integration activities. 
  • Provide change management oversight, to plan resource alignment, identify priority adjustments, and identify needed skillsets. 

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
  • Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control monitoring
  • Ability to manage diverse workloads and effectively prioritize multiple competing demands on the individual’s time.
  • Proven experience in producing program documentation with demonstrated application of project management principles.
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently and in the team environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite needed to perform day-to-day functions.
  • Experience in using MS Project.

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as SE, Computer Science, or technical degree related to job description.

  • Proficient with SharePoint 2013 development, administration, and general user knowledge.
