SAIC is seeking a part-time, casual systems engineer to support the development of laser based experimental systems. The research areas include human vision and biological effects of laser exposure.  Specifically, the role involves the concept, design, and creation of laser based test systems.

The applicant will support a range of computer software development, electrical engineering and system design to support research for the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical engineering or related field
• Experience in data acquisition, motion control and automated testing
• Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW
• Experience with field studies and operational testing
• Must be self-motivated, possess a willingness to learn new skills independently, work as part of a team, and be comfortable following directions
• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
