Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician V to support the U.S. Marine Corps Mobility Platform Integration programs in Bedford, IN. This senior-level position requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in technical training, logistics support, and engineering change proposal (ECP) development across medium, heavy, and light tactical vehicle platforms. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of military maintenance operations and the ability to translate complex systems into effective curriculum and training solutions.

Job duties include but may not be limited to:

  • Lead and execute training programs for U.S. Marine Corps tactical vehicle platforms (JLTV, MTVR, ULTV, UTV)
  • Develop, revise, and implement curriculum and training materials based on technical data, engineering drawings, and system requirements
  • Interpret and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to support vehicle modifications and maintenance procedures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on ECP development and technical integration activities
  • Coordinate logistics planning, equipment fielding, and sustainment support activities
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians and instructors; lead cross-functional teams during field training, NET events, and system upgrades
  • Collaborate with engineering, government, and OEM partners to validate training effectiveness and provide field support feedback
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on technical content, training delivery, and maintenance standards

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of direct experience supporting tactical vehicle platforms within a U.S. military or defense contractor environment
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Extensive knowledge of Marine Corps maintenance and logistics systems, policies, and procedures
  • Proven experience developing and delivering technical training, both classroom and hands-on
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage workstreams in high-tempo operational environments
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, engineering data, and maintenance manuals
  • Experience supporting or authoring Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, if required

DESIRED:

  • Prior service in a maintenance MOS or comparable technical role within the U.S. Marine Corps
  • Familiarity with programs such as TAMCN management, GCSS-MC, and TDP development tools
  • Experience supporting New Equipment Training (NET), Field-Level Maintenance (FLEM), and over-the-shoulder coaching
