Description

SAIC is seeking a Modernization Manager for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation ice-breakers and enhancing the Navy and Coast Guard's polar mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.

This is an ONSITE role in Pascagoula, MS. Must be local to area.

This position is contingent upon award news in Fall 2025 Relocation can be considered on a case by case basis.

 Job Duties: 

  • Supporting the integration and modernization of USCG C5ISR systems.
  • Manage the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of multiple C5ISR related projects focused on C5ISR installations and System Operations and Verification Testing (SOVT) efforts.
  • Maintain full accountability for handling all aspects of C5ISR project management operations in support of client goals.
  • Collaborate with Government customer(s), stakeholders, and project team to ensure success of project execution from inception to closeout.
  • Manage the execution and oversight of approved projects to include integration, installation and maintenance activities as well as creating, tracking, and communicating schedule, performance, and compliance and other project specific deliverables.
  • Coordinate resource allocation to support C5ISR installation efforts and managing technical team during execution.
  • Conduct status/progress/issues briefings for C5ISR installations.
  • Create and coordinate associated Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC/Customer leadership as needed.
  • Facilitate project meetings with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and keep stakeholders informed of project status, communicating any issues which impact project delivery.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and tracking those efforts to on-time completion.
  • Ensure proper close-out of all projects, including Contracts Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents.
  • Provide feedback on technical team’s performance on an effort.
  • Participate in a continual improvement process and feedback sessions to gain efficiencies in shipboard installations of a complex enterprise network.

Qualifications

Required Requirements: 

  • Associate degree and eight (8) years or more of related experience; Bachelor’s and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) year of related experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • IAT I with expectation of IAT II within 6 months of employment.

Desired Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office.
  • IAT II.
  • Proficient Soft Skills for engaging with individuals in person, on phone and in written mediums.
  • Previous SME experience with C4ISR or C5ISR.
  • Systems Administration of NIPRNET and SIPRNET.
