Description

SAIC is seeking a highly detailed-oriented Engineering Technician IV to support the MOBILITY PLATFORM INTEGRATION program at our Eastgate office in Bedford, IN. This dual-hatted position will support both the integration technician role and assist the configuration management, engineering, and logistics teams. This role is critical to ensuring seamless support for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) inventory tracking, drawing interpretation, and Marine Corps systems logistics.

Job duties include but may not be limited to:

  • Support MOBILITY PLATFORM INTEGRATION as a dual-role integration technician.
  • Assist the engineering configuration management and logistics teams with accurate data tracking and documentation.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
  • Provide accurate and timely logistics support for Marine Corps tactical systems.
  • Utilize SAIC's Information Management and Technology (IMT) system to manage GFE and inventory with precision.
  • Support document control, part identification, and system configuration accuracy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline processes and maintain configuration integrity.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a defense or technical support environment.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have direct experience with SAIC's IMT system for GFE and inventory management.
  • Strong background in logistics, with a demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps systems and logistics processes.

DESIRED:

  • Prior support experience with NSWC Crane programs.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles.
  • Experience working within cross-functional engineering and logistics teams.
