SAIC is seeking a Senior Space Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be responsible for supporting the customer with capability development and integration processes, evaluating future concepts across DOTMLPF-P elements while assessing functionality, solution alternatives, operational and cost benefits including to identify risk(s).
  • Experience needs to be in areas such as Space; High Altitude and Missile Defense; Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs); assessments of current / future systems; development of emerging materiel solutions;  synchronization of Army operational assessments; development, coordination, and staffing of appropriate Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents, including the required supporting analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 

Qualifications:

All candidates must have comprehensive knowledge and expertise of:

Development, coordination and staffing of appropriate ACIDS/JCIDS documentation such as:

  • Development Documents (CDDs), Abbreviated  - CDDs, Capability Production Documents (CPDs), and any other required supporting analysis and documentation.
  • Must possess ability to identify/investigate source documents for quantitative and qualitative analyses
    Experience with systems and integration effort.
  • Technology development, user operational assessments.
  • Expertise in technology assessments to ensure acceptance and relevance for improvements that meet capability gaps.
  • Expertise in the development of system-related briefings and reports that include supporting graphics and other technical analyses as required.

Clearance:

  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance to start.
