We are currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Finance Analyst to join our talented team. In this role, you will conduct research and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement, recommend operational and procedural solutions, assist with budget preparation, and manage projects while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.

This position is contingent upon award news in Spring of 2026.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for operational and procedural improvements.
  • Review and evaluate existing policies and procedures and recommend changes.
  • Assist with budget preparation, analysis, and management.
  • Manage projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
  • Experience shall include collection, review, and analysis of information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
  • Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, or expenditures.
  • Interview managers and employees while observing their operations.
  • Develop solutions to problems.
  • In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
  • Prepare and solve mathematical models.
  • Ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data to identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information, present findings, and collaborate with others.
  • Ability to work effectively with others, including management, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with various data analysis techniques and tools.
  • Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Specific Experience: Individual shall have notable experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security Clearance.
