SAIC is seeking a highly organized Program Management Analyst to join our dynamic team at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with strong analytical skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and a customer service mindset. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing program performance, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring adherence to program standards through effective quality assurance practices.

Work is performed on-site 3+ days per week in Washington D.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage weekly program status updates, including executive-level quad chart briefings to communicate progress, risks, and actions.
  • Partner with the Program Manager on strategic and operational initiatives to meet program objectives.
  • Quality Assurance Surveillance: Lead the execution of Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP) to monitor contract performance, track Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliverable Review & Process Improvement: Conduct rigorous assessments of client deliverables, providing constructive feedback and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design, lead, and continuously refine the program’s new hire onboarding process to improve engagement and readiness.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to program standards, including meeting management best practices and documentation consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify bottlenecks, track and close action items, and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Attend and facilitate meetings; document key decisions, track deliverables, and manage follow-ups to completion.
  • Apply knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks—incident, problem, and change management—to align IT services with business objectives and drive service excellence.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of professional experience in Program Management, preferably in an IT or federal program environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire teams, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven ability to understand stakeholder needs, foster strong working relationships, and deliver with a service-first attitude.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify root causes, develop data-driven solutions, and implement process improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage, influence, and inform stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing deliverables and assessing compliance with standards.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to collaborate across teams, multitask, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
