Description
SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Middletown, RI team to work on design and development of torpedo test equipment.
Job Duties:
- Researches, designs, develops, modifies, evaluates and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
- Conducts experimental tests on equipment and evaluates results. Aids in design and trouble shooting of existing torpedo test equipment.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and zero (0) years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Security Clearance:
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
Required Skills:
- Limited use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Receives assignments in the form of specific tasks for the work to be completed.
- Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives and schedules.
Desired Skills:
- Internship experience preferred.
