SAIC is seeking qualified applicants in a diverse array of IT fields to support STRATCOM Information Technology Life Cycle Support (SCITLS) program contingent upon contract award.  Primary work will be onsite in Omaha, NE supporting United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) J6. Through this 7-year contract SAIC and partner companies will sustain, optimize, and accelerate USSTRATCOM J6 initiatives.

Qualified applicants will work within cross-functional teams empowered to reduce dependencies and incrementally deliver mission value. Applicants will be responsible for the following aspects:

  • Managing and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure seamless and secure operations within the USSTRATCOM enterprise.
  • Providing Tier-3 Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support, focusing on Incident and Problem Management, as well as Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Ensuring the timely restoration of disrupted services, minimizes operational impacts, and enhances service quality and availability. 
  • Diagnosing underlying issues, maintains a Problem Management database, and implements Change Management processes to prevent recurring incidents.
  • Providing expertise ensuring the health and performance of network systems, addressing both current and future requirements.
  • Supporting the integration of Zero Trust Reference Architecture (ZTRA) into USSTRATCOM’s architecture. Leverages AI and cloud computation to refine data access control, ensuring real-time monitoring of data utilization and access trends.
  • Assisting in the development of migration strategies to minimize downtime and mission impacts, while ensuring system compatibility with USSTRATCOM’s IT enterprise.
  • Evaluating existing network and security infrastructures, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending enhancements aligned with ZTRA principles.
  • Providing subject matter expertise, ensuring USSTRATCOM remains compliant with DoD Zero Trust Strategy requirements, contributing to a secure, resilient network environment.
  • Leading team-level prioritization to ensure alignment with mission priorities. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education and years of experience will vary based on position and customer requirements
  • Related experience in Enterprise IT Support, Security, and Automation
  • DoD 8140 certification (Sec+, SecurityX, CISSP, …)  

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Active TS
