  • Research and Procure Hardware: Research hardware to create Bill of Materials for the acquisitions team. Produce Bill of Materials for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) purchases, research and determine appropriate hardware to maintain functionality after items have gone end of life/sale, and research hardware to verify suitability for network inclusion and addition into CMDB. Provide technical evaluation of vendor quotes for accuracy prior to contract awards.
  • Create and Maintain Reports: Generate and maintain Monthly Definitive Media Library Reports and Semi-Annual Microsoft True-Up Reports. Maintain hardware assets and license documentation in at least two definitive media libraries (DMLs). Draft deliverables in accordance with contract requirements such as lifecycle technical refresh plans or other required documents.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Work directly with Government customers, internal customers, team members (other functional areas), and management to update, maintain, and edit the Approved Hardware Catalog. Conduct cost-benefit analysis research to provide best-fit hardware solutions for customer requests, and understand the issues, develop solutions, and determine appropriate hardware to fulfill service requests, break-fix requests, hardware requests, and ongoing technical issues resolution efforts.
  • Support Software Asset Configuration Management: As an alternate, support software asset configuration management by updating and maintaining the approved Software (SW) catalog and relevant SACM SW processes/procedures/duties/responsibilities.
  • Collaboration with Change Management: Work closely with change management and may act as alternate change manager in absence of the primary.
