SAIC is searching for a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in Oklahoma City.  This position is on site 5 days a week at the FAA office near the Oklahoma City airport. 

Duties:

• Monitors system performance to ensure adequate resources (hardware, software and communications) are available to meet customer requirements.
• Tunes system software and performs workload analysis and load balancing to optimize system efficiency. 
• Performs authorized maintenance of a highly specialized nature on system software.
• Establishes and maintains system security.
• Provides management with status of projects, problems or other outstanding project related issues.
• Scanning, patching, remediating and updating software for Microsoft and Linux systems vulnerabilities.
• Experience working work Information System Security Officers (ISSO) on execution of policy.
• Works in a team environment, willingly and promptly provides assistance. 

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience;
• candidate may use 8 years of experience in lieu of completed degree.
