SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Program Analyst Supervisor to support operations of the Specialized Munitions Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This opportunity provides you room to bring current skill and expertise, then leverage the occasion to develop and achieve success. Collaborating with other professionals to solve challenging technical problems and participate in the development of sound solutions for the nation’s security supporting our frontline warfighters. The selected individual will operate in a capacity of service responsible for team organization and development, contributing to various projects and tasks, including all aspects of system product life cycle from concept to fielding. All while having the opportunity to build and maintain strategic relationships with various customers, sponsors, and related industry partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support customers and sponsoring organizations in engineering, project management, acquisitions, vendor review, design of experiments, testing, data collection, range operations, and fielding/safety review as required to support product and solution development.  Including occasional travel support
  • Oversee, manage, and complete operational aspects of ongoing and new engineering and technical projects for the assigned key business areas
  • Work directly with customers to create short and long-term developed solutions while managing portfolio projects/programs and building long term relationships supporting national mission force customers
  • Directly supervise individual contributors including technicians, support personnel, and experienced professionals. Ensure the cohesive operation of your team with the development of solutions to meet productivity, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Serve as a liaison between customer and SAIC program management. Delivering ad-hoc information and all contractually required status reporting. Including details such as highlights of exceptional performance, customer needs or concerns, and overall task completed and delivered reporting

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience: Master’s and 4+ years of experience.  Additional years of applicable experience in lieu of degree will be accepted  
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Project Management Experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey technical information effectively to a variety of audiences in oral or written formats
  • Capable facilitator with a proven ability to gain and maintain team member or stakeholder engagement and support
  • Unrelenting desire to learn and improve
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software tools (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Interim secret required to start, with the ability to obtain a full DoD Security Clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance
  • US Citizenship

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Systems Engineering / Design Development Experience
  • SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD Software Experience
  • Test and Evaluation Experience
  • Ordnance Experience
  • Familiarity with government acquisitions
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
