  • Provide technical research and operational evaluations to assess, interpret, shape, and help advise AF/A10S, on behalf of AFIMSC and USAFE-AFAFRICA, regarding what operational and scientific testing results mean to operators (e.g., pilot, navigator, aircrew, loadmasters, maintainers, defenders).
  • Apply results of laboratory and field testing (Department of the Air Force (DAF), Joint/Department of Defense (DoD), Ally or partner, etc.), that support the development of CBRN equipment performance criteria, technical reports and operational concepts for USAFE-AFAFRICA and AFIMSC.
  • Analyze current and evolving CBRN materials and delivery systems, and assess the effectiveness of Air Force protection, detection, and decontamination equipment in relation to the threat.
