Description

The Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) aims to provide USSOCOM and its extended network with critical Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services. This includes maintaining Network Operations (NetOps), system and network infrastructure, end-user support, and comprehensive management of configurations and changes. Our work ensures continuous support for USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and global end-users, operational 24/7/365.

We are looking for a skilled Change Configuration Manager to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will:

  • Manage product design changes and their impacts on the overall system.
  • Document and track all aspects of system integration and life-cycle modifications.
  • Review document change requests, notices, and associated drawings for accuracy.
  • Keep comprehensive records and know where to find historical configuration verification audit records.

Change Managers must possess a deep understanding and broad application of technical principles, theories, and concepts within the field. This includes:

  • Independently gaining buy-in from requirement owners and be able to present solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrating sound judgment in selecting change management methods and techniques.
  • Tracking the deployment and configuration of Windows operating systems, applications, and software updates.

Requirements:

  • Work under general direction, independently gathering requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure project completion contributes to the organization's objectives without causing delays or resource wastage.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work center-specific tactics, techniques, procedures, configuration settings, and troubleshooting processes.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI if hired.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certification version 4.0 and (RCV) Certification.
  • Prior experience with BMC Remedy IT Service Request Management System (ITSRM) version 9.x and/or Helix 20.x.
  • Prior experience with BMC Remedy ITRSM Change Management Console.
  • Must have DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II.
  • BS and 5 or more years of experience, master's and 3 years of experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
