SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician IV at our customer site in North Charleston, SC.

You will be primarily tasked with performing moderate to complex vehicle integration tasks in support of the Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) on United States Marine Corps vehicles such as the Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle (ULTV).

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Cable routing, metal work installation, and technical support to integrate, install, modify, and perform upgrades in support of CAC2S systems.
• Provide occasional assistance to related support areas, including but not limited to kitting and warehouse operations.
• Read and follow technical integration documentation, written and verbal instructions, schematics, drawings and diagrams, and plans that often require interpretation.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma.
•  Seven (7) years with of practical experience.
• Specific Experience:  Four (4) years of practical experience in C4ISR systems, C4ISR land-based vehicular platforms or related C4ISR systems/subsystems. Experience, to include: installation of such equipment. Two (2) year of experience, to include: design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Three (3) years of experience in task C4ISR systems, C4ISR land-based vehicular platforms or related C4ISR systems/subsystems, of which 2 must have been performed within the last 3 years. Note: Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
