SAIC is looking for a Cyber Security Intern to join our team in the Washington D.C. area. This exciting opportunity will give the student the opportunity to experience what it is like supporting federal financial agencies.

This is a paid internship opportunity.

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Contribute by assisting the Cyber Security Program specifically the overall cybersecurity assessments including policies.
• Assist in system assessments, test results documentation, evidence review, findings and remediation recommendations, audit / assessment life cycle management, inventory review and risk assessments.
• Help develop documentation for information system authorization – on premise and cloud, engage with the SAIC team on cybersecurity matters.
• Learn how a federal agency applies the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to protect and defend information systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Current enrollment in an accredited university with a focus in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or something similar.
• Exposure to SharePoint.
• Ability to obtain a required Public Trust, citizenship required.

Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
