Description

SAIC is seeking a Data Scientist at the Offutt AFB, NE to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC) Studies and Analytics (NEA) Division. The successful candidate will guide systems architecture, data strategy, and digital transformation for critical national security projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement advanced data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, and data transformation initiatives.
• Drive cloud-based data solutions, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Execute end-to-end data analysis, from collection and cleansing to integration and retrieval.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and natural language processing.
• Select, configure, and deploy AI models and develop use cases to utilize AI for data processes.
• Gather, clean, and transform data from various sources.
• Develop and optimize statistical models and algorithms.
• Develop data ontologies to enhance data integration and interoperability.
• Maximize data utility by improving data quality and governance through data annotation and enrichment.
• Develop data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience, Master’s with 12+ years of experience
• Expertise in data analytics, AI, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and big data tools.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and advanced data modeling techniques. 

Required Clearance: 

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
