SAIC is looking for an Electronics Engineering Technician in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy. This position is fully onsite working 2nd shift hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provides technical support for AEA assigned systems or platforms to include the modification, maintenance, repair, and upgrade (MRU) of fielded EW systems and related Support Equipment
- Test and evaluate AEA and related systems, subsystems, equipment and components
- Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment
- Prepare inputs for test plans
- Review test plans and procedures
- Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing
- Analyze test results; determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in related discipline and two (2) years or more of related experience; Or, High School and four (4) years of related experience
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; Interim secret needed to start
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Experience reading schematics and engineering diagrams
- Wiring experience
DESIRED:
- Active Secret Clearance
