SAIC is looking for an ambitious Senior Level System Administrator/VMWare SME like you! Candidates will join a fast-paced and growing team of System Administrators in supporting a 24/7 high visibility Watch Center. In addition to maintaining a private Customer Cloud, candidates should expect to gain experience in new administration technologies; tackle individual and group projects; work closely with other IT professionals; and participate in a growing ever-changing mission. Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Poly.
- 9 years of relevant IT experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience in place of degree will be considered.
- High Degree of Experience building/configuring/maintaining/upgrading/tuning/ troubleshooting VMware virtual infrastructures.
- Experience with the following aspects of Windows Domain Administration:
-Active Directory
-Group Policy
-DNS
-DHCP
-WSUS
- Experience with any of the following virtualization products and services: Citrix, Nutranix or HyperV.
- Experience managing Windows Server 2012/2016/2019; Windows Client 10/11.
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, subnets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on a 24/7 weekly on call rotation.
- Willingness to participate in WMA or CONUS travel (<10%).
- Ability to rack/stack/install physical equipment.
Desired Qualifications:
- VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV).
- Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Experience with EMC enterprise storage arrays.
- Experience with designing/implementing COOP plans.
- Experience administering Red Hat derivative Linux distributions.
