SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in support of the SAIC ITO Enterprise Business Development (BD) Applications Organization.  The SAIC ITO Enterprise Applications BD Organization provides support to SAIC business tools related to Customer Relationship Management, Sales, Contracts, Proposals and Government Compliance.  The Senior Software Engineer works with multiple teams to install, patch, upgrade enterprise software as well as administer configuration and settings. This position may be remote anywhere in the US for the right candidate. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining SAIC BD software application suites.
• Work on an agile team where success is defined by the ability to understand your path forward, effectively communicate that path, and complete the task inherent to that path in a timely matter.
• Research advancements in computer science and related fields to help steer the product toward long term success.
• Communicate with leadership to ensure a common understanding of requirements.
• Document your work for the benefit of your teammates, the user, leadership, and the customer.
• Foster the growth of Junior software developers thru mentorship.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience, Master's and 3+ years of experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

 Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working with Software Design and Administration.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements, generate a design, and produce efficient, robust, and testable software.
• Must be a US Citizen. 

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on a highly networked application.
• Experience with MS Dynamics.
• Experience with MS Power Platform & Power Automate.
• Experience with AssetSmart, Domino & ProPricer software a plus.
