SAIC is seeking a Battle Management Product Champion. 

As a JCC2 Battle Management Product Champion, you'll work in a government-led agile team. Your role will span the entire software lifecycle, from exploration to development, operations, and sustainment. You'll be tasked with implementing cutting-edge, cost-effective solutions in line with program priorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate as part of an integrated team, consisting of DevSecOps Engineers, Release Engineers, and Platform Architects/Engineers, within the framework of the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture’s Unified Platform Data Management (UPDIM) Team.
  • Use an agile software approach, assessing gaps, threats, requirements, and emerging technology bi-monthly.
  • Organize and lead project status meetings, prepare progress reports, and manage risks.
  • Correct deviations from plans and perform delivery planning for projects.
  • Assist in team development, remove roadblocks, and leverage organizational resources.
  • Implement quarterly program increment planning cycles, and two-week development sprints that yield Minimum Viable Capability Releases (MVCR) or Minimum Viable Products (MVP).
  • Conduct incremental planning events to provide an opportunity for the user community, developers, program stakeholders, the program management team, and other acquisition stakeholders to prioritize what software features will be developed during the next quarterly program increment.
  • Collaborate with USCYBERCOM. 

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications Required:
  • Experience with and strong understanding of DoD cyber technologies, preferred.
  • Knowledge of acquisition processes and requirements management.
  • 5 years of designing, developing, and implementing software solutions.
  • Security Clearance: SECRET clearance required with ability to attain a TS/SCI.
  • Minimum of 9+ years experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Must have prior government or military experience with any of the following organizations: Coast Guard, MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force (AFCYBER), or 10TH Fleet / Navy Cyber.
  • Experience directly managing complex technical projects and or programs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to users.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to speak in a public forum.
  • Ability and willingness to work a hybrid schedule with about 3-4 days/week on customer site. However, flexibility is essential to accommodate any changes in the schedule.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
