Description
SAIC is seeking a Field Technician V or a Master (Journeyman) Electrician to conduct an Electrical Hazard Classification assessment to document the classifications of each piece of electrical equipment installed within 57 Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) buildings to determine the lowest Electrical Hazard Class/Division/Group rating for the documented locations per NFPA 70, NEC, Article 500, (2023 edition) for Hazardous (Classified) Locations, Class I, II, and Divisions 1 and 2.
NOTE: This position is for specific project that will take a total of 350 hours to complete.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The report shall identify all electrical hazards with associated classification for buildings and contain the following:
