Description

Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management. Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight. Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience; Or 13 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance
  • Experience with networking concepts, database management, deployment automation tools. 
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework process under DAAPM.
  • Experienced with complex troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Windows MCSA, MCSE for Server 2016 - 2019.
  • Experience with VMWare and NetApp technologies.
  • Able to effectively communicate to the DoD engineering/program community.
  • Experience with Commvault Enterprise backup software.
