Join SAIC as a Systems Administrator for the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3

Location: SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill AFB, FL. 

Background: SAIC is looking for experienced Systems Administrators to join our team supporting the SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO). This position is critical to providing USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces with essential Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps), systems and network infrastructure, end-user and common device support, and configuration, change, license, and asset management. The role is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting global 24/7 operations.

Your Role: We are seeking a seasoned MECM Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure. You will be pivotal in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows operating systems, applications, and software updates across our organization. Working closely with other IT teams, you will ensure the seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment & Configuration: Manage Windows OS, applications, and software updates
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly resolve client-related issues
  • Application Deployment: Utilize MECM/SCCM for application deployment
  • Security Updates: Oversee the deployment of critical software updates
  • Technical Support: Provide expert support to IT teams and end-users
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of MECM/SCCM configurations and troubleshooting procedures
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices with IT teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: DoD 8140/8570 Certification: DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II certification
  • As well as one or more of the following:
    • MCSA relevant to the candidate's work area
    • VMware Certified Associate (VCA)
    • VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft Certified Associate relevant to work area
    • MCSA Server 2012/2016
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
    • MCSE relevant to the candidate's work area
    • AWS Sys Ops Administrator Associate
    • Nutanix Certified Professional
    • MCTS: SCCM
  • Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret / SCI
  • Education & Experience:
    • BS and 2+ years of experience, OR
    • Associates and 4 years of experience, OR
    • At least 6 years of experience with no degree
