SAIC is looking for a Software Test Engineer to start an exciting career opportunity supporting the IRS.

Qualifications

Required: 

• Bachelors degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Develop product level test plan.
• Assign test stories; augment embedded testers as needed.
• Serve as a SME for QA embedded testers and coach/analyze testing team members to ensure effectiveness of testing.
• Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure shared understanding, coverage across system components, identify dependencies and communicate risk.
• Provide Go/no go recommendations for product releases.
• Support iRPM check-ins as team leads.
• Maintain consistency in delivery using our testing processes.
• Communicate testing progress, risks/issues, and testing needs up to Test Leadership team and work with them to track and report on overall testing progress and implement testing improvements for TXP.
• Respond to client requests and report test status at client level (eg: IPT, IT Daily Standup)
• Review and approve deliverables including bi-weekly deck, EST weekly quad chart, updates to TSIP, MSR etc.
• Support Staffing efforts, conduct interviews and provide feedback for hiring recommendations.

Preferred:

·       IRS experience and/or an existing IRS clearance is highly preferred.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
