SAIC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry-level Engineering Technician in North Charleston, SC. 

Job Duties:

• Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables. 
• Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components.
• Identify and report design or fitment issues and work with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays.
• Must be able to multitask and adapt to rapid changes that are made during the build process.
• Provide technical support during system testing.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

• High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Required Security Clearance: 

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Desired Skills: 

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism.
