SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator in our North Charleston, SC. location. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and expediting flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with the project schedule or priorities directed by management.
• Reviewing production schedules and conferring with project schedule or priorities directed by management to determine material requirements.
• Arranging transfer of materials to meet production schedules; examining material to verify type specified for current project; and computing amount of material needed for specific integration kits or job orders.
• Compiling reports of quantity and type of material on hand and coordinating with project schedule, or priorities directed by management.
•  Inspecting and documenting material from venders. Builds integration kits based on project schedule, or priorities directed by management.
• Utilizing forklift, hand trucks, and various other warehousing tools and equipment.
• Utilizing CMPro (database) and Excel to perform job functions. 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 4 years of warehouse experience.
• Strong analytical, computer, and written skills.
• Possess excellent drawing and parts lists reading skills.
• Ability to read and interpret Customer Materials and Process specifications to establish two and three tier materials.
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills to meet the challenges of unexpected program updates and requirements.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
• Past CMPRO Helpful.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Public Trust security clearance. Active clearances accepted.
