SAIC is seeking a Configuration Analyst Senior Principle with experience in Configuration Management and performing Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team in El Segundo, California.
PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to manage CM activities related to change management and status accounting; and facilitate FCA/PCA activities for Government acquisition programs to endure all requirements (applicable internal/external interface requirements) are verified, and system and CIs adequately and correctly reflect hardware /software design.
Major duties of this position include:
- Facilitate Government FCA/PCA activities and advise Government team on FCA/PCA Certification Sheet signoff and track action items to closure.
- Review contractors’ processes and review design documentation related to hardware and software.
- Maintain records and submit reports regarding status for Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Request for Deviation/Waivers/Variances.
- In-depth knowledge in configuration management and planning, configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration verification and audit IAW with EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61A, and MIL-STD-973.
- Schedule, document and facilitate program Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Change Control Board (CCB).
- Provide CM training and guidance to project team members and Government personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 14 years or more experience or master’s degree with 12 years or more experience.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Proficiency using specific tools; DOORs, Clear Case, Confluence/JIRA.
- Knowledgeable in EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61A, and MIL-STD-973; Configuration Management standards.
- Understanding of FCA/PCA criteria and processes for both hardware and software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Online.

- Active Secret Clearance.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
