Description
SAIC is seeking a Ground Systems Integration Engineer to support a program that procures satellite vehicles with associated ground segments. The ground segment consists of ground command and control (C2) software & hardware, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) and virtualized technologies. This position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
In this role, you will support major program acquisitions and act as the primary support to the development branch.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree and 9 years or more experience; Master’s degree and 7 years or more experience; PhD and 5 years or more experience.
- Experience in full life cycle support with an IC or DoD acquisition program office.
- Experience with ground segment of space program office.
- Experience evaluating proposals, budgets, and master schedules.
- Experience with activities involving hardware and software integration.
- Experience in request for change (RFC) processes.
- Understanding of requirements validation and verification methods.
- Experience in ground architecture design.
- Experience in risk management planning and mitigation.
- Ability to travel overseas.
