Description
SAIC is seeking incumbent and external talent to support The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Information Technology (CIT). These positions will provide network professional support services to the NIH CIT in support of the NIH Institutes, Offices, and Centers (IOC).
Network support includes engineering, operations, and maintenance of the NIH LAN and backbone and the TIC in a 24/7/365 environment covering primary locations in Bethesda, MD as well as numerous off-campus sites located in or close to the National Capital Region, field offices across the U.S., and disaster-recovery centers.
All positions are contingent upon contract award.
Anticipated Start Date: April 1, 2025
Estimated Period of Performance: 04/01/25 – 03/31/30
Positions will be available in the following skill areas. Minimum requirements will vary based on role, level, education, and experience:
- Program/Project Management (PMP required)
- Sr Network Engineers/Architects (Network Certifications required)
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management
- Information Assurance and Security Operations
- Network Operations
- Security Engineering / Operations (Palo Alto FW. Security/thread mitigation)
- Tools Automation (Splunk, Network Monitoring suite) & Custom Dashboards
Qualifications
Minimum requirements will vary based on role, level, education and experience
NOTE: Certificates are highly recommended. Cisco Network Certs (CCNA, CCIE, CCNP), Palo Alto Certs, etc. PMs need PMP
Current NIH or HHS clearance. NIH inherent environmental knowledge or past work within network.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
