Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Manager for a future NAWCAD program in St. Inigoes, MD, to provide lifecycle engineering and support for radars and sensors.  This position is contingent upon award in Fall 2025. We are currently interviewing candidates to join our future team.

Work will be performed on site in St. Inigoes, MD, with some hybrid remote options for the local area.


Job Duties:
The PM will lead, manage, and administer contracted efforts as the chief liaison with government authorities on technical and programmatic issues, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and effective resource management. 


The PM's proficiency in shipboard and shore-based electronic systems, alongside adeptness in hardware, software, configuration control, and systems integration—combined with a thorough grasp of DoD acquisition policies—is poised to steer this program towards success.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • M.S. or M.A. degree in business administration, management, engineering, engineering management, physics, or computer science or a qualifying substitution
  • Ten (10) years of overall related experience
    • Six (6) years in defense acquisition
    • Three (3) years experience in support of the department of the Navy (DON) acquisition management
  • Proficiency in both shipboard and shore-based electronic systems, including hardware and software management
  • Skilled in configuration control, performing tests and evaluations, as well as integrating systems and ensuring their ongoing supportability
  • Capable of setting and guiding technical strategies in line with the wide-ranging goals of programs, particularly those involving aircraft systems
  • Familiar with acquisition protocols, with specific expertise in the DoD 5000 series requirements
  • Proven ability to lead, direct, and manage large and diverse teams, providing oversight across various domains including program management, systems engineering, major acquisitions, and financial oversight

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
