Description
SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a future NAWCAD program in St. Inigoes, MD, to provide lifecycle engineering and support for radars and sensors. This position is contingent upon award in Fall 2025. We are currently interviewing candidates to join our future team.
Work will be performed on site in St. Inigoes, MD, with some hybrid remote options for the local area.
The Electrical Engineer will independently perform and lead a spectrum of engineering tasks, from planning to QA testing, for the development and evaluation of military radars and sensors and related systems, ensuring integration, consistency, and high-quality outcomes in both physical and software components. They will also manage technical documentation and oversee complex project execution within the engineering domain.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs tasks independently and has demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise.
• Applies and integrates engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military radars and sensors, subsystems, lab tools, and test tools.
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, CM, QA testing, or acquisition and resource management.
• Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military radars and sensors and associated support systems or management information systems.
• Leads the execution of complex tasks
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
• US Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field
• M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or an engineering discipline or qualifying substitution
• At least four (4) years’ experience with countering autonomous systems and subsystems
