Description

SAIC is seeking an Electronic Warfare Fleet Liaison Team (FLT) Member to support our Jammer Technique Optimization (JATO) team. The candidate will function as an integral part of a team of government, military, and contractor personnel that provides technical reports and employment recommendations to operators of EA-18G and other Electronic Warfare (EW) platforms.  

Daily activities:

  • Perform technical analysis on radar and communications systems of interest and apply knowledge of Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) systems to author and edit JATO Techniques, Analysis, and Tactics (JTAT) documents and provide peer reviews for JTATs and other fleet products. 
  • Serve as a liaison between JATO engineers and US Navy and Royal Australian Air Force EA-18G aircrew to provide on-call support. Answer Requests for Information (RFIs) and provide technical training presentations to VAQ squadrons.
  • Support on-site test, flight, and simulation events by providing technical expertise and mission planning support. 

Qualifications

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's and five (5) years of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required skills:

  • Recent (last three years) operational military experience as an EA-18G Electronic Warfare Officer or Pilot.
  • A minimum of five (5) years relevant AEA experience.
  • Working knowledge of the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS), Electronic Tactical Information and Report Management System (ETIRMS), HAVOC Tactical Manual.
  • Knowledge of radar theory and operations and experience analyzing intelligence information on weapons systems and their associated radars and communications systems.
  • Possess professional verbal and written communication skills sufficient to prepare reports and present briefings related to AEA topics. Possess Excellent organizational, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

Required clearance:

  • Must have at least an active Secret security clearance.

Desired experience:

  • Experience as an EA-18G Electronic Attack Weapons School or Airborne Electronic Attack Weapons School Instructor highly desired.
  • Flight time with Next Generation Jammer.
