SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support the NAVAIR Program Management Activity (PMA) – 251’s Information Systems IPT.  The successful candidate will support from the SAIC Abell House, California, MD office.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is fully awarded for immediate hire.  The Senior Program Analyst position provides analysis of program requirements, status, budget, and schedule in direct support the Information Systems IPT Lead and in support of NAVAIR PMA-251’s Marine Aviation Data Management System (MADMS) development project.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Provide creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals.
  • Track and analyze program requirements, status, budget, and schedules.
  • Support the performance of program management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Participate as a member of and/or supports the specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs); and IPT directed business meetings.
  • Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information.
  • Plan, develop, review, and coordinate DoD/Navy acquisition documentation.
  • Support customer tag-ups, working groups and various milestone events.
  • Interpret technical and financial information related to aircraft acquisition and product programs.
  • Develop program materials, meeting minutes and action tracking.
  • Participate in Risk Management and CDRL management activities.
  • Contribute and support the establishment and definition of program plan requirements.
  • Assists in planning, manning, executing and contract duties to maintain cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Use scheduling tools and provide insight and oversight of program progress. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelor's and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Master's and eight (8) years or more experience. Additional years’ experience accepted in lieu of a degree. Degree in the following preferred: Business Administration, Computer Systems Administration, or Information Systems Management.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, performing the functional duties to be performed for this position.
  • US Citizen and an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. 

DESIRED EXPEREINCE:

  • DoD Lifecycle management experience.
  • Defense Acquisition background.
  • NAVAIR experience is a plus.
  • DAWIA certifications are a plus. 

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
