SAIC has multiple undergraduate SharePoint Development and Information Technology Internship opportunities within the Managed Information Technology Services Team for Summer 2025. SAIC’s United States Transportation Command (USTC) Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract provides strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command’s infrastructure, systems, and applications. 

The Intern will provide support in specified area on assignments utilizing established procedures and guidance provided by the assigned mentor. Candidates will have the opportunity to explore all aspects of professional software development and/or IT service management from technical to support functions. Understand that this short description is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of duties assigned. Mentors will set the specific duties and responsibilities for the day-to-day activities. This is an entry level position where the intern will be able to apply basic fundamentals, concepts and procedures to expand their classroom knowledge to workforce level experience.

Qualifications

Required Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (complete and/or in work)
  • Be in strong academic standing
  • ITIL Foundations V4 certification
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • One of these IAT Level II certifications: Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
  • A Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility in either Network support/defense (e.g., Splunk, Cisco, McAfee, etc.) OR (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Solaris, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

  • A strong desire and willingness to learn more about professional IT Service delivery, IT Service Management, SharePoint Development, or Data Analytics.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
