SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radar Production Manager to lead our Radar Restoration and Overhaul Contract in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects related to radar system upgrades, maintenance, and sustainment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver complex radar system overhauls on time, within budget, and with high quality.
• Develop and maintain project plans, project schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Manage project risks and opportunities, including the development of mitigation plans.
• Oversee contract requirements and ensure compliance with all government regulations and corporate policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and maintain strong client relationships.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, and other departments to ensure project success.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Manage project budget and financials, including forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all project sites.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Project Management and 6 years of experience; Master's degree and 4 years experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in defense or a related industry.
• Prior experience with radar systems or similar defense technologies.
• Strong understanding of the DoD contracting environment and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership and decision-making skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• No clearance required to start.  Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• PMP Certification.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Business.
• Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Active security clearance at the Secret level or higher.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
