SAIC is looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing for our Army and Navy Business Group, who will lead the development, execution, and management of the marketing campaigns around the company’s solutions and capabilities. This is an important role that has a direct and significant impact to the company’s success, our ability to shape our markets, and the perception of the SAIC brand by all our stakeholders.
This position is responsible for creating and executing full-funnel demand generation campaigns to accelerate growth within our Army and Navy business groups. You will build and execute marketing plans that generate market excitement, showcase customer value, and generate pipeline. Proficiency in government marketing strategy is essential. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in marketing and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the Army and Navy industries.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and inspire internal and external stakeholders to position SAIC as a leader in bringing the solutions to drive our customers in the Army and Navy business groups.
- Partner with Business Group leaders and subject matter experts to differentiate SAIC in the Army/Navy markets, establish thought leadership, and position the company for competitive advantage.
- Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of channels to drive engagement and conversions.
- Plan, design, execute and measure external marketing campaigns to include advertising, tradeshows and events, customer demos, digital campaigns, messaging, and thought leadership efforts.
- Leverage experience in leading marketing teams to develop marketing strategies for large scale brand executions.
- Apply marketing concepts, methodologies, and tools, including developing and managing marketing campaigns to meet top company priorities.
- Play a crucial role in advising and influencing senior leaders on marketing strategy, planning, and execution.
- Direct the execution of market research, content creation, and development and execution of marketing campaigns for the Army and Navy business groups.
Qualifications
- BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline.
- 15+ years’ experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations. At least 5 years of management experience.
- Government contracting, government services or defense industry experience required.
- Demonstration of excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal; partnering effectively with executives, leaders, technical team members and engineers, stakeholders, and other audiences.
- An acute sense of ownership and accountability, as well as the ability to influence and persuade internal and external partners.
- Must be able to demonstrate sound business judgment and ability to work closely with senior leaders in the organization.
- Excels in adapting and working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment –flexibility to find innovative ways to accomplish work; excellent project management skills; and ability to manage multiple, complex projects at the same time.
- Proven ability to develop solid working relationships in a matrix environment; strong problem solving and collaborating skills at all levels of the organization.
- Professional maturity, sound judgement, discretion, and proven ability to handle confidential information.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
