SAIC is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support the NAVSEA O5T Additive Manufacturing Special Project Office (SPO)in the Washington Navy Yard. Work will be Hybrid (approx. 2 days in person, 3 days remote). The ideal candidate will have a background in financial analysis within the Department of Defense (DoD).

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft acquisition documentation in support of the SPO's Senior Acquisition Specialist and Requirements Manager.
• To align all the Advanced Manufacturing (AM) documents across the Navy Enterprise and then draft new versions of these documents.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment, as well as track comments and respective resolutions.
• Develop/collect documentation that contributes to reports, roadmaps, and overall program direction. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience. Years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must be proficient in MS Office applications and possess writing skills.
• Must be able to work in a team and individual environment on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Direct experience with NAVSEA, Navy Warfare Center or Pentagon Staff work is a plus.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must have an ACTIVE Secret security clearance.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
