Description
SAIC is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the cloud migrations from on-prem legacy applications. This is a full-time remote job that can be worked anywhere within the US.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains project plans and schedules.
- Provides oversight of system requirement and design activities.
- Provides quality assurance of completed project artifacts.
- Maintains the project repository of SDLC artifacts.
- Conducts quality gate reviews with project stakeholders.
- Completes periodic project status reports.
- Manages project risks and issues.
- Develops multiple courses of action and provides recommendations to leadership.
- Coordinates supporting resources outside of team.
- Helps prepare budget and resource documentation.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
- Must be a US Citizen - No dual citizenship.
- Must have the ability to obtain secret clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management or related field. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
- Five (5) or more years of experience managing and directing projects.
- Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office products.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and strong work ethic with “can do” attitude.
- Ability to function at a fast pace with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to communicate diplomatically with project stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Project or similar products.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience managing software development projects.
- Knowledge of IT networks, servers, application servers, and databases.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
