SAIC is seeking an experienced project manager to join SAIC’s team, in support of the U.S. Southern Command’s Cyber IT Enterprise Services (SCITES), to help provide our Nation for contingency planning, operations, and security operations to Central America, South America, the Caribbean areas.

The candidate selected for this position shall:

  • Be able to study, design, engineer, construct, install, and coordinate telecommunications equipment, systems, and facilities
  • Perform engineering studies involving equipment, applications, or theoretical analyses of such engineering methodologies
  • Be responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM
  • Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance
  • Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements
  • Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership
  • Support business development and program staff management
  • Organize, direct, and manage operational Information Technology (IT) infrastructure functions involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks within the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Headquarters, Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay (JTF-GTMO) in Cuba, Joint Task Force Bravo (JTF-Bravo) in Honduras, and 27 Security Cooperation Offices (SCOs) in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Manages multiple divisions of contract support personnel at multiple locations
  • Oversee multiple technical task leads ensuring system operational capabilities, availability and compliance
  • Maintain and manage the client interface at senior levels of the client organization
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Champion the integration of industry best practices and innovation to improve operational performance, availability, capacity and cost efficiency
  • Prepare and complete action plans, implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, while resolving problems, and conducting audits
  • Identify trends, determine system improvements, and implement changes to maintain and improve customer satisfaction

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • BS with 9 years experience 
  • TS security clearance with SCI eligible
  • DoD 8570 certification (minimum IAM Level III)
  • ITIL V3/V4 Certification
  • A minimum of six years of experience managing complex programs
  • A minimum of three years as an Operations Lead
  • Experience planning and executing local and long-haul communications
  • Experience supporting operations centers supporting 15,000 or more customers and integrating service providers
  • Experience leading teams of network, system, and architecture engineers

Desired:

  • Experience working with DoD IA policy and guidelines and applying their implications on network architecture design and configuration
  • In Depth understanding of IT Operations Management and KPI/SLA management with a focus on Customer Experience Management
