Description

SAIC is seeking a skilled Cyber Technical Planner (preferably Cyber, Info. Tech. or proven military related organizational planning) to join our team. This is a 100% work from home position. The candidate will play a key role in coordinating and strategizing technical initiatives, projects, and resources to ensure efficient and effective execution.  

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with internal team, stakeholders, and senior management to understand training objectives, technical requirements, and project goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical plans, roadmaps, and timelines for the implementation of technologies, systems, and solutions.
  • Coordinate with project managers and leads to define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize technical initiatives based on strategic goals, resource availability, and organizational priorities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses to evaluate the viability and potential risks of proposed technical projects.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and proactively identify and address issues or bottlenecks to keep projects on track.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization across multiple technical projects to maximize efficiency and minimize resource constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure alignment and integration of technical plans with overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to inform technical planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and present technical planning reports, status updates, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain cloud governed ranges to include updating  technical demos and labs.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years of experience; 4 more years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Required Skills:

  • Military organization knowledge/familiarity
  • Cybersecurity tool proficiency- Security Onion, Wireshark, Kali Linux, Snort, Splunk, etc.
  • Network security
  • Threat intelligence analysis
  • Experience in a SOC preferred
  • Understanding of cybersecurity compliance requirements and regulatory standards
  • Scripting and automation
  • Cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with Project management methodologies- Agile, Scrum, Waterfall
  • Familiarity with project management tools- Trello, Jira, Microsoft planner/project etc.

Desired Skills:

  • Preferred individual with military CPT background.

Target salary range: $95,001 - $105,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
